Out of the blue exhibition series | Bold & brave
OUT OF THE BLUE EXHIBITION SERIES | BOLD & BRAVE
While we are often known for decorative patterns and florals, plains have always played their part in our vocabulary.
From the late 90s, more focus was given to a library of plain fabrics - known as our Essentials collections, as a wide range of colours and textures were added.
As well as patterns, bold mixes of plain colour inspired consumers to be brave during this decade and beyond - to live with colours in a way that had hitherto been used only by the few.
Using every component of a living space – from furniture, curtains and walls to bedlinen, throws and cushions – the look was accessible to everyone who was inspired by Tricia Guild’s style.
Today, we have over 100 designs of plain fabrics within our range. Choose from a myriad of colours – from neutrals and naturals of every hue, to softer shades of washed colour and brighter accent colours too.
Stylish, modern and utterly versatile, our plains and textures work perfectly in their own right as well as coordinating with all our printed fabrics and wallpapers.
Head to the Fashion and Textile Museum for more info - exhibition running until 21st February 2021.
