MAY 2019

Earlier this season we caught up with Tiffany Duggan of Studio Duggan to host an exclusive preview of our new SS19 collections. Studio Duggan has quickly gained an international reputation for its highly crafted and dynamic projects so we were very excited to find out her thoughts on our new collections.

What were your first impressions of the SS19 collections?
The collection is so fresh and delicate - perfect for Spring. I love the mix of old and new and the crumbling palazzo inspired wallpapers.
What aspect about the collection were you most drawn to?
I really love the big blowsy florals with marbled backgrounds, also the Maggiore Bianco bedlinen is beautiful. The John Derian collection has so many usable fabrics - I adore Leaf Specimens, this would look great as a sheer roman blind in a pretty powder room.
How do you see yourself interpreting our new collection into your projects?
We will be using the Anshu range for perfect ‘waterfall’ drapery and bedcovers, the pretty John Derian prints on cushions and blinds, and the Carrara Fiore blousy florals on large scale upholstery items such as sofas and beds.
What is your favourite design from SS19?
I love the Mixed Tones II fabric by John Derian, we have in fact just specified this for a huge noticeboard in a clients kitchen.
