At Designers Guild, we like to think we know how important our homes are and how they have a lasting affect on our well-being and the bedroom is no exception. Here are a few of our tips for improving your sleep patterns and getting the best possible night’s perfect slumber –

1. Set the scene and create your own haven – choose patterns, textures and colours that soothe and relax you. Use colours that you love and textures that you love to touch.

2. Lighting - light sends a signal to the brain and can help induce sleepiness so adjust your lighting and turn the lights to low or better still, light a candle.

3. Get comfortable – there is nothing better than crisp fresh bed linen sheets. Choose from our selection of the finest cotton percale or pure linen in gorgeous colours, plump up our feather and down pillows and duvets and in those cooler months add one our merino wool throws or blankets for added cosiness.
