OUT OF THE BLUE EXHIBITION SERIES | FLOWER POWER

One of the most consistent threads of Tricia’s vocabulary has been her use of flowers, the landscape and nature in her designs.

An ardent gardener and lifelong lover of flowers, Tricia’s approach to interpreting their beauty is intrinsic to the company’s work.

The innovative method of digital printing allowed for an exact representation of the hand painted artwork – without the limit of screens and colours: it also allowed for an expansive and generous use of scale. We introduced this technique back in 2010 with our Zephirine collection.

A natural depiction of flowers, plants and trees evolved over the decades, becoming a hallmark of our style that grew richer and stronger in colour and texture.

Head to the Fashion and Textile Museum for more info - exhibition running until 21st February 2021.
